FanPoints and Rewards Terms of Use

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR PARTICIPATING IN THE FANPOINTS AND REWARDS PROGRAM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF USE AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE, DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE FANPOINTS AND REWARDS PROGRAM.

These Terms of Use apply to your access to, and participation in, the FanPoints and Rewards program (“FanPoints”) which is operated by University Fancards, LLC. These Terms of Use do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with Fancards for other products and services, such as the Fancard Prepaid Mastercard ®. University Fancards, LLC reserves the right to change, modify and/or eliminate FanPoints and Rewards reward redemption value or point earning policies at any time and in its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revisions to https://ufanpoints.com, and you waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications. Your participation in FanPoints and Rewards confirms your acceptance of these Terms of Use and any such changes or modifications; therefore, you should review these Terms of Use and applicable policies and FAQs frequently to understand the terms and conditions that apply to FanPoints and Rewards. If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, you must stop participating in FanPoints and Rewards.

Fancard Prepaid Mastercard may include:

  1. Physical Fancards plastic cards that are available online at myfancard.com or from the Fancards mobile app on your Android ™ or iPhone ® device;
  2. Digital forms of the physical cards that are available through the Fancards mobile app. For more information about the Fancard Prepaid Mastercard, please visit myfancard.com or contact us at info@myfancard.com with any additional questions. You can see the details in the Cardholder Agreement as well.

The FanPoints and Rewards program is intended for personal use only. Commercial use is prohibited. This program is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18.

Please read the Privacy Statement carefully to understand how Fancards collects, uses and discloses information about customers and how to update or change your personal information and how we communicate with you.

FanPoints and Rewards is one way in which Fancards endeavors to reward and thank loyal customers for patronizing our business and using Fancards. Members of FanPoints and Rewards are able to earn and accumulate “FanPoints” that can be redeemed for FanPoints and Rewards benefits, also known as “Rewards.” Fancards reserves the right to exclude entries from any participant who is suspected of theft, fraud, or any criminal activity related to Sponsor or its affiliates. FanPoints and Rewards accounts associated with fraudulent or unauthorized activity, as well as Cardholders associated with any similar fraudulent or inappropriate activities relating to any such Fancard Prepaid Mastercard, will not be eligible for a FanPoints and Rewards Account; and or may have any existing account(s) suspended.

JOINING FanPoints and Rewards

PLEASE NOTE: YOUR FanPoints and Rewards ACCOUNT IS SEPARATE FROM YOUR FANCARD PREPAID MASTERCARD ACCOUNT AND ASSOCIATED FANCARDS USER PORTAL OR APP.

There is one (1) way to enroll in FanPoints and Rewards and begin accumulating FanPoints:
1) You must have a Fancard Prepaid Mastercard in order to be eligible for FanPoints and Rewards.

To register for FanPoints and Rewards:
1. Visit ufanpoints.com
2. Follow the prompts to login and register at least one (1) physical Fancard Prepaid Mastercard that is both a) active and b) has a positive balance.

The registration process may require that you provide the following information: username, password, email address (required in order to receive all eligible Rewards), name, and marketing preferences. All of your Fancard Prepaid Mastercards can be activated and registered for use in FanPoints and Rewards, but you may only have one (1) primary cardholder account associated with a FanPoints and Rewards account.

If you change your account address to one that is not located within Washington D.C. or the fifty (50) United States, your Fancard Prepaid Mastercard will continue to function, but your FanPoints and Rewards account will be deactivated. You will no longer be able to earn FanPoints or receive or redeem benefits under your U.S. FanPoints and Rewards account. Previously earned FanPoints may expire as described below.

FanPoints

Ways to Earn Points:

The benefits that are available to you through FanPoints and Rewards are based on the number of “FanPoints” that you earn. There are four (4) ways you can earn FanPoints:
1.) By making qualifying purchases using any Fancard Prepaid Mastercard registered to your FanPoints and Rewards account.

PLEASE NOTE: A qualifying purchase is dependent upon the date on which the qualifying purchase has
been posted to the respective Account Card.

2.) By Loading your Fancard Prepaid Mastercard via Direct Deposit, Bank to Card, & Greendot ® Reload at the Register™.

3.) Through successful payment of the Enrollment Fee and Monthly Service Fee.

4.) “Refer-A-Fan” through your FanPoints and Rewards Account.

Earning FanPoints
1.) Cardholders may earn FanPoints by making qualifying purchases using any Fancard Prepaid Mastercard registered to your FanPoints and Rewards account, all sub-cards under one Primary Account automatically earn FanPoints. Cardholders can earn 5 FanPoints per dollar for every qualifying SIGNATURE or ONLINE purchase made.

2.) Cardholders may earn FanPoints by loading your Fancard Prepaid Mastercard via Direct Deposit, Bank to Card, & Greendot ® Reload at the Register™. Cardholders may earn 1 FanPoint per dollar loaded via Direct Deposit and Bank to Card load. Cardholders may also earn 1 FanPoints per dollar loaded via Greendot ® Reload at the Register™

3.) Once a Fancard Prepaid Mastercard is registered, loaded and a successful Enrollment Fee of $3.95 or $6.95 is processed, cardholders will be rewarded 50 FanPoints. For every successfully processed Monthly Service Fee, cardholders will receive 50 FanPoints.

4.) Refer-a-Fan through your FanPoints and Rewards account. Go to ufanpoints.com/account and click “Refer-a-Fan”. Share that link with friends and family and receive 50 FanPoints if your referral orders, activates and loads their Fancard within 45 days of ordering.

The benefits that are available to you through FanPoints and Rewards are based on the number of “FanPoints” that you earn. You can earn FanPoints by making qualifying purchases using any Fancard Prepaid Mastercard registered to your FanPoints and Rewards.

If you void a qualifying purchase made with your registered Fancard Prepaid Mastercard, Fancards will deduct the FanPoints that you were awarded for that qualifying purchase, potentially resulting in a negative FanPoint balance on your account. If you return merchandise that you purchased with your registered Fancard Prepaid Mastercard (note: an original receipt or gift receipt is required), your funds will be returned to you on your Fancard, but Fancards will not deduct Points from your account.

If you use multiple forms of payment in one transaction, such as cash, credit card, or an unregistered Fancard Prepaid Mastercard, the registered Fancard Prepaid Mastercard that you use will be awarded a prorated number of FanPoints based on the eligible qualifying purchase amount that was applied to your registered Fancard Prepaid Mastercard.

When are rewards paid?
Points are awarded on an hourly basis as transactions and Monthly Service Fees are processed. Signature Purchase Points are posted when the transaction settles and all holds related to the transaction have been removed (please refer to the Fancard Prepaid Mastercard® Cardholder Agreement Merchant Authorization Holds section). A users’ points will accumulate within thirty-six (36) hours of the user activating and spending funds loaded onto their card. Points can be viewed in the user’s FanPoints account when they register/sign in at ufanpoints.com. Points are removed from the user’s account when a redemption transaction has settled as a void or returned transaction. Point accumulation happens in real time, but will be held for up to thirty-six (36) hours before posting to a FanPoints User in order to allow time for processing.

Redemption
All active FanPoints and Rewards users are eligible to participate in the FanPoints Points and Rewards. These eligible Members will accumulate points based on the FanPoints Points and Rewards program and may redeem their points for experiences and merchandise offered on the online shop on ufanpoints.com. FanPoints Points and Rewards program points have no cash value and are not transferable or assignable. No points redemptions may be placed on behalf of another Member or third party. Accounts may not be pooled. Items won are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

Miscellaneous
These FanPoints and Rewards Terms of Use complement and incorporate by reference the Fancard Prepaid Mastercard Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between the Fancard Prepaid Mastercard Terms and Conditions and these FanPoints and Rewards Terms of Use, the Fancard Prepaid Mastercard Terms and Conditions control. There are no membership fees associated with FanPoints and Rewards. FanPoints accumulated under the program are promotional and have no cash value. Your FanPoints, Rewards, registered Fancard Prepaid Mastercard, and your account under FanPoints and Rewards are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends or others, or used by you for any commercial purpose. You may have only one (1) FanPoints and Rewards account that is personal to you. Without notice to you, Fancards reserves the right to suspend any FanPoints and Rewards Account and/or your participation in FanPoints and Rewards if Fancards determines in its sole discretion that you have violated these Terms of Use, you have more than one (1) account, or that the use of your account is unauthorized, deceptive, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful. Fancards may, in its sole discretion, suspend, cancel or combine FanPoints and Rewards accounts that appear to be duplicative. In the event that your participation in FanPoints and Rewards is terminated, and then all accumulated FanPoints in your account are void. Without notice to you, Fancards also reserves the right to “unregister” and make ineligible for the FanPoints and Rewards program any FanPoints and Rewards Account that has been inactive for twelve (12) months. Inactive is defined as no FanPoints earned. Fancards reserves the right to terminate, discontinue or cancel the FanPoints and Rewards program at any time and in its sole discretion without notice to you.
